The Second 10 Conversations
A look at the second 10 conversations in a
Pimsleur Comprehensive I course
In the second 10 conversations of a Pimsleur Comprehensive
course, the student begins to master the use of numbers. The constant
repetition may be tiring to some people, but it develops speed in one of the
most important topics of any foreign language. When I went to Japan, the cashiers didn’t slow down the numbers for me. Despite having gone through the Pimsleur
number exercises, I was still a bit slow, but I was a lot faster than I would
have been without Pimsleur.
But what’s even better, the second 10 lessons teaches you
how to order food and go shopping! Who wouldn’t want to know how to do that?
Looking further ahead at the later lessons, we see how far
the student has progressed in just 20 lessons – in just 10 hours of
language training! J
